The summit will be attended by German Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Estonia, Kristen Michal, Prime Minister of Latvia Andris Kulbergs, President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and President of Romania Nicușor Dan.
High Representative/Vice-President Kaja Kallas, Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jozef Síkela and European Council President António Costa will participate.

SOTEU 16 Sept– The State of the Union (SOTEU) address is an annual speech by the President of the European Commission to the European Parliament, setting the priorities for the Union for the year ahead. In this year’s address, Ursula von der Leyen will share her vision and major initiatives for the year ahead, building on the EU’s achievements so far.
Sept 17 – President of PE, Roberta Metsola, welcomes Prime Minister of Canada and presides over a formal address by Mark Carney.
